Abhishek Bachchan in the Hindi remake of Naan Ee
Naan Ee is running to packed houses in almost all the theatres in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
At this juncture, director Rajamouli has decided to remake this film in Hindi in 3D format.
Rajamouli has once again proved that he can narrate anything tastily if there is a strong screenplay. This film is also a mega hit in Telugu also.
Rajamouli has decided to screen this film to Abhishek Bachchan in order to cast him in the lead role in this remake film. If Abhishek Bachchan likes the film, Rajamouli has decided to cast him in Nani’s role.
He has also mentioned that Sudeep and Samantha who had acted in Naan Ee will also act in the Hindi version.
Simbhu croons for Srikanth’s film
Simbhu is very much interested in singing. Apart from singing for his films, he is also interested to sing in the films that has other actors in the lead roles.
He had earlier sung a song for the film Mambattiyan which had Prashanth in the lead role. That song turned to be a mega hit.
At this juncture, Simbhu has sung a Kuthu song which begins with the lines Nachukku Nachukku for the film Ethiri Enn 3 which has Srikanth in the lead role.
Dharan has composed the music for this song. Eight kinds of sets were erected to shoot this song at a cost of Rs 40 Lakhs.
This song sequence featuring Srikanth and Poonam Bajwa was shot in these sets. Director Ramkumar is confident that this song will be very popular among the youths.
Samantha to quit acting because of her skin allergy
Actress Samantha is suffering from skin allergy. She is staying in Hyderabad and getting treated but the result is negative.
She is at her home because her face has lost its radiance. She had acted in the film Naan Ee which was made in Tamil and Telugu.
This film which was released recently is running to packed houses. Tamil film industry stalwarts Manirathnam and Shankar had approached Samantha for the female lead role in their respective films.
She who had given call sheet For Manirathnam had acted in it for few days. She quit this film because of her skin allergy. She refused Shankar’s film. Samantha is frustrated because of this.
She decided to go for plastic surgery but the doctors said that was not possible. People close to Samantha say that she may quit acting because of her skin problems.
Asin says that she has got a big status in Bollywood
Asin is very cheerful these days because her Hindi film Bol Bachchan is doing very well at the box office. Most of Asin films are hits.
It is not a new thing for her but the film Bol Bachchan has given her a new status.
For Hindi actresses, it is great honour for having acted in a film which has earned a profit more than Rs 100 Crores.
Bollywood Kareena Kapoor is topping this list. She had acted in Three Idiots, Golmaal 3, Body Guard and Ra One which had yielded profits more than Rs 100 Crores. Asin is next to Kareena Kapoor.
The films Ghajini, Ready and House Full in which Asin had acted have broken the records by earning more than Rs 100 Crores. Now the film Bol Bachchan has also yielded profits more than Rs 100 Crores.
In view of the foregoing, Asin is being considered as a stiff competitor to Kareena Kapoor. Asin while speaking about this said, "I have just completed five years in Bollywood.
I never even thought that I will get this status in such a short span of time. Bol Bachchan is the best film in my career."
J G Krishna is producing a film titled Vazhipokkan under the banner Movie Lounge. The title of this film has been changed as Shiva, Ramya, Michael.
This film is being produced in Tamil and Kannada languages.
Anbu Cheliyan is directing the Tamil version while the Kannada version is being directed by A K Siva Surya.
